Job summary

VitalSolution, in Tennessee, seeks an Interventional Cardiologist for a block-schedule role offering 182.5 working days per year with 7/7 days on/off. The position features inpatient consults, outpatient clinic days, and 24/7 call during the block, with a competitive full-time salary and a structured schedule designed for work-life balance.

Responsibilities include coronary angiography, FFR/iFR, IVUS, nuclear studies, TEE, stress testing, PCI and pacemaker work when needed, with collaboration

Qualifications

• Board certification in interventional cardiology required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac catheterization procedures (diagnostic/PCI).
• Cardioversion, IABP, temporary pacemakers as needed.

• Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Inpatient consults and rounding
  • Outpatient cardiology clinic -4 days/week
  • 24/7 Interventional and General call during block schedule
• Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
  • Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
  • Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
  • Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
  • IVUS
  • Nuclear cardiology studies
  • Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
  • Supervise or interpret stress testing
• Procedures:
  • Cardioversion
  • Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PCI
  • IABP
  • Temporary Pacemakers
  • Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
  • Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APP, PCP, Hospitalist, General Cardiologist

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• 50 PCI's/year for the previous two years
• TN medical license (or ability to obtain one)
• DEA
