VitalSolution, part of Ingenovis Health, seeks an Interventional Cardiologist for a structured 7 days on/7 days off block schedule in Oregon. The role involves outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and 24/7 call during the block periods.

Ideal candidates hold board certification in interventional cardiology with strong PCI volume, and possess medical licensure with DEA facilitation. Fluoroscopy-guided procedures and radiation safety experience are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology.
• 50 PCI procedures per year for the last 2 years.
• MD license and DEA licensure (facilitation provided).
• Training and experience in fluoroscopy-guided cardiovascular procedures and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology clinic.
• Inpatient consults and rounding.
• 24/7 call during block schedule.

Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule

Position Highlights:

Schedule:

Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off). 1-3 year contract--where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Outpatient cardiology clinic
• Inpatient consults and rounding
• 24/7 call during block schedule
• Diagnostic LHC/RHC (Coronary Angiography)
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
• Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)
• Echocardiography
• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Nuclear Cardiology Studies
• Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation (preferred)

Procedures

• Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization
• Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Radial Access Procedures
• Cardioversion
• Temporary Pacemaker Placement
• Permanent Pacemaker Implantation (preferred)
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Placement and Management
• Impella Placement and Management
• IVC Filter Placement and Retrieval
• Peripheral Intervention (preferred)
• Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Intervention
• Mechanical Thrombectomy (Penumbra and similar thrombectomy systems)

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• 50 PCI's/year for the last 2 years
• OR Medical License and DEA- Licensure facilitation provided
• Training and experience in fluoroscopy-guided cardiovascular procedures and radiation safety
