Job summary

VitalSolution in Ohio is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative team focused on exemplary cardiovascular care, patient outcomes, and community service.

The role features a block schedule (7 days on/7 days off), inpatient consults and complex procedures, 24/7 call during blocks, and licensure support with strong compensation tied to quality incentives. Collaborative work with APPs, PCPs and hospitalists emphasized.

Qualifications

• Board certification in interventional cardiology required.
• OH state license with licensure facilitation provided.
• At least 100 PCIs performed in the last 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient consults and rounding.
• Lipid and hypertension management.
• 24/7 call during block schedule.
• FFR/IVUS procedures.
• Nuclear cardiology studies.
• TEEs (preferred but not required).
• Supervise or interpret stress testing.
• Echocardiography (ECHO).

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (ex: 7 days on/7 days off). 1-3 year contract.

Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Consults and Rounding
• Lipid and hypertension management
• 24/7 call during block schedule
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) /IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) (Preferred not required)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing
• Echocardiogram (ECHO)

Procedures:

• Cardioversion
• IABP
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Permanent Pacemakers (Preferred but not required)
• Peripheral Diagnostic and Interventions

Collaborative Environment: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• OH State License – Licensure facilitation provided
• 100 PCIs in the last 24 months
