Job summary

VitalSolution, in Alaska, is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a collaborative team. The role features a structured block schedule (e.g., 14 days on/14 days off) with 1-3 year contract and 24/7 call during blocks, aiming to balance meaningful patient care with life outside the OR.

You will perform inpatient/outpatient cardiology, diagnostic angiography, PCI, IABP/Impella, pacing, echocardiography, and stress testing, working closely with PCPs and hospitalists to improve

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Alaska license; licensure facilitation provided.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient Consults and Rounding
• Outpatient cardiology
• 24/7 call during block schedule
• Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
• Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) /IVUS
• Nuclear cardiology studies
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Supervise or interpret stress testing
• Echocardiogram (ECHO)
• Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PCI
• Cardioversion
• IABP/Impella
• Temporary Pacemakers
• Permanent Pacemakers (Preferred but not required)

• Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (ex: 14 days on/14 days off). 1-3 year contract.
