Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; prefer one year of EKG experience or an EKG course certificate.
• Preferred: One year experience and/or EKG course completion.
• Must be able to perform EKGs, Holter monitoring, stress tests and related cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrocardiograms (EKG), Holter Monitoring and Stress Tests.
• Utilize dictaphone and typing to prepare and file reports.
• Maintain EKG equipment and ensure electrical safety.
• Recognize abnormal EKG readings and report to the proper person.
• Participate in in-service training and quality assurance surveys.
