Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks an ECG Technologist to perform ECGs, Holter monitoring and data management under the Cardiovascular Center. You will support the stress lab and assist in TEE setup, acting as a superuser for the ECG management system and teaching physicians to read ECGs.

The role requires knowledge of complex cardiac arrhythmias, basic cardiac arrhythmia coursework, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and patient care.
• Ability to read and interpret ECG data and arrhythmia patterns.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a clinical setting.
• Must be willing to travel between locations within the health system.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECGs and Holter monitoring.
• Manage ECG data and act as system superuser.
• Assist in stress lab and set up TEE when needed.
• Teach physicians to read ECGs online.
• Maintain professional conduct with staff and patients.
