Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine Cardiology – Heart Care in Bethesda seeks a Cardiology Device Technologist to join the multidisciplinary Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Team. You will support implanted pacemakers/ICD devices and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include device interrogation, programming per protocol, and troubleshooting device issues within a collaborative environment. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Certification from a recognized Cardiac Device Training School OR experience reviewing and managing remote device transmission (e.g. Carelink, Latitude and Merlin)
• Valid CPR card
• Two (2) years Cardiac Device experience or equivalent years of CIED industry experience
• Experience with pacemakers, defibrillators or implantable loop monitors, implanted cardiac pacemaker and ICD devices.

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians Heart Care In Bethesda Is Currently Searching For a Cardiology Device Technologist To Become a Member Of Its Elite Multidisciplinary Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Team. As a Device Tech, You Will

• Support technical management of implanted cardiac pacemakers and ICD device

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification from a recognized Cardiac Device Training School (i.e. ATI, IBHRE, Medtronic Academy) OR experience reviewing and managing remote device transmission (ex. Carelink, Latitude and Merlin)
• Valid CPR card
• Two (2) years Cardiac Device experience or equivalent years of CIED industry experience
• Experience with pacemakers, defibrillators or implantable loop monitors, implanted cardiac pacemaker and ICD devices.

Shift: Full Time (40 hours), Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Salary Range: Minimum 42.33/hour - Maximum 69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
