Job summary

The Oregon Clinic Cardiology Creekside clinic in Beaverton seeks a full-time Device Technician (Credentialed Medical Assistant) to join a patient-focused team. You will work with physicians to manage implanted cardiac devices, monitor remote checks, educate patients, and coordinate care across the device team.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of cardiology experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification from a national certifying entity.
• CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Two years of pacemaker and ICD technology training preferred.
• May have EMR experience, Epic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs device management under physician oversight for implanted cardiac devices.
• Manages device patients and collaborates with physicians on care plans.
• Troubleshoots device issues and conducts device clinic triage with patient education.
• Assesses CIEDs for sub-optimal programming, arrhythmias, or abnormal findings.
• Provides patient education on post-implant care and remote monitoring.
• Manages external heart monitors and assists with sterile procedures.
• Provides billing, scheduling support, and updates patient records as needed.
