Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Upstate Cardiology team. The CMA will work closely with the primary care physician to update records, measure vitals, and prepare rooms for examinations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED; CMA certification is preferred, with BLS required at hire for some locations. Excellent customer service and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and community in a respectful, service-oriented manner
• Reviews and updates health records, prepares treatment rooms
• Measures vital signs and assists with examinations
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phones
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly
• Other duties as assigned
