Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for St. Francis Downtown to support the primary care team and ensure high-quality patient care. The CMA will review health records, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with patient visits in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification required (CMA/RMA/CCMA etc.).
• CPR/BLS at hire for some Bon Secours locations; prior to independent patient care per policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous service.
• Review and update patient charts; verify test results and records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, height/weight).
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, phone coverage.
