Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED with lab exposure; college science courses preferred.
• Experience using Word, Excel; data entry experience.
• Knowledge of cardiology patient populations; ability to perform telephone screenings.
• Experience handling biological samples (blood and urine).
• Ability to perform protocol tasks and communicate with sponsors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist coordinators, researchers, and PIs in general cardiology research.
• Conduct phone screenings of patients and collect data for case report forms.
• Maintain inventory of rating scales, lab kits, and specimens; process and ship samples.
• Schedule patient visits and support IRB form preparation as needed.
