Inova Health System in Fairfax, VA, is seeking a Manager of Clinic Operations Mgmt for the Cardiology team at Fair Oaks. This full-time role supports outpatient practices, coordinating schedules and workflows to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will collaborate with the Director and cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements. The position emphasizes leadership of sizeable teams and a patient-centered performance mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 1 year of healthcare leadership experience OR completion of a 12-month healthcare administrative fellowship AND 2 years of healthcare operations experience.
• Preferred: experience managing large teams and strong knowledge of Patient Access/Registration/Scheduling and clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to practice processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Director of Outpatient Practices to resolve issues within deadlines.
• Coordinate Provider office schedules and monitor patient volumes, access, and service levels.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal/state authorities and other regulators.
• Partner with Physician Billing, Patient Financial Services, and Medical Records to identify financial improvements.
• Oversee Outpatient Practice with hiring/training, strategizing, and delegating tasks.
