Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly upon arrival and verify information.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars.
• Enter data into Cerner and create encounters in STAR.
• Coordinate rescheduling and cancellations as needed.
• Verify insurance prior to the appointment.
• Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about clinic services and preparation instructions.
• Relay patient messages using the EMR messaging system.
