Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Cardiology Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee daily unit operations in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit/Tele. You will lead a skilled team, coordinate department activities, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state of practice, with at least 3 years Telemetry/PCU experience and 1 year as a charge nurse. BSN preferred; BLS required at hire; ACLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of Telemetry/PCU experience and 1 year of charge nurse experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred BSN degree; BLS required at hire; ACLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department activities, implement process improvements, and manage staff productivity.
• Serve as a liaison to hospitalists, cardiologists, and administration to ensure high standards of care.
• Develop and enforce plans to maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
