Job summary

Health, Inc is seeking a dedicated RN for a full-time, night-shift Charge Nurse position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will lead telemetry staff, oversee nursing operations, and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires California RN license with BLS/ACLS, and at least 3 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership. BSN and prior management are preferred.

Qualifications

• California RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Successful completion of EKG and NIHSS within specified timeframes.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to telemetry staff caring for patients with telemetry, stroke, bariatric, and interventional cardiology needs.
• Manage human resources through staff evaluation, hiring, orientation, and ongoing education.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and safety protocols, while fostering teamwork and efficient workflow.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, cost management, and strategic planning.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical competencies.
• Facilitating communication among staff, patients, families, physicians, and management.
