Duke Cardiology of Raleigh in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to serve as a triage nurse and vital member of the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect patient care.

The role requires a registered nurse with an accredited associate degree or nursing diploma, BLS, and ideally cardiology experience. ACLS within 6 months of hire is preferred. On-site day shifts, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire date.

Aufgaben

• Manage nurse line for telephone triage and document encounter; inform provider as needed.
• Evaluate/assess/educate patients prior to procedures and alert MD for modifications.
• Administer medications and perform IV-related tasks per orders and protocols.
• Perform intake with patients to capture vital signs and visit information.
• Backup coverage for procedure triage and scheduling; assist training of new staff.
