Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle and to support operational needs during shifts. The role requires clinical expertise and adherence to organizational policies while ensuring patient safety.

You will communicate patient care and staff concerns to leaders, act as a resource for guidance, and maintain high standards of practice while coordinating care activities across assigned staff.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or multi-state compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Emergency Department setting
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s)
• Serve as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff
