Qualifications

• RN - Georgia state licensure and/or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL) required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• BCLS required
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification prior to independent chemotherapy administration required
• NRP by the end of orientation period (Women’s Services) required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date required
• PEARS certification required
• PALS if unit serves pediatric patients required
• ACLS and PALS certification required for ED; ED staff to obtain within 6 months as applicable

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands and communicates patient care and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree preferred
