Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to coordinate delivery of high-quality nursing care across patient populations, from birth through the lifecycle. The nurse will provide clinical care as needed, follow organizational policies, and communicate issues to leadership.

The role requires BLS and ACLS, RN licensure in Georgia (or multi-state compact), and 1–2 years in cardiology, Cath Lab, IR, or ED settings. Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and IV skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Active, unencumbered Georgia State RN license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Emergency Department setting.
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology; ability with difficult IV sticks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
