Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a key clinical provider in high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans for long-term heart health.
• Provide clear patient education on diagnoses, options, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams for seamless care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists and staff.
• Mentor clinical trainees including students and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guidelines.
• Engage in population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to growth of a sustainable patient panel.
