Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with active or eligible cardiology certificate.
• Licensed or eligible for New York State cardiology license.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in delivering high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans promoting long-term heart health.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses and options.
• Maintain thorough documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and care teams for seamless patient care.
• Mentor trainees including students, extenders, and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS and payer guidelines.
• Contribute to population health initiatives and quality improvement projects.
