Job summary

Top Echelon LLC in New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join a well-established, physician-led group in Suffolk County, Long Island.

You will provide high-quality cardiac care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. The role supports leadership opportunities and ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active or eligible board certification in Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow and manage a thriving patient base.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality cardiac care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
• Manage both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans that promote long-term heart health.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Mentor clinical trainees including students, physician extenders, and interns.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
