Job summary

Markent Personnel places a Cardiologist in a growing Critical Access Hospital in rural Eastern Oregon, La Grande. The role offers autonomy, a four 10-hour day schedule, and relocation assistance with robust compensation in a supportive clinical group.

You will provide outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care, perform echocardiograms and stress tests, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with PCPs to ensure seamless transitions of care. Exceptional lifestyle balance is offered.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system

Location: La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon)

Compensation: $600K - $670K+ per year

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive total compensation opportunity (670k+) which includes:
  • Quality incentives up to $70k
  • RVU bonus based on annual threshold
