Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to join the Cardiovascular Center in Thomasville, GA. You will perform EKGs, holter and event monitor applications, treadmill testing, and vascular plethysmography, ensuring accurate preliminary reports to physicians.

The role requires graduation from an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent, current BLS, and completion of an arrhythmias course within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must complete an arrhythmias course within six months of employment.
• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia, and vascular hemodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, holter monitor application, and event monitor application.
• Perform treadmill testing.
• Perform vascular plethysmography.
• Prepare and relay preliminary reports to proper referring and/or reading physician.

Education/Experience

• Graduate of an approved Cardiographic Technician program or equivalent work experience AND successful completion of the CCI Credentialing Certification for Cardiographic Technicians
• Current BLS certification
• Must attend and successfully complete a hospital sponsored arrhythmias course within the first six months of employment
• Must have a good basic understanding of cardiac anatomy/physiology, basic arrhythmia, and vascular hemodynamics
