Job summary

Archbold Medical Center is seeking a Registered Radiologic Technician to perform routine and special exams with a focus on infant to geriatric patients. You will provide diagnostic X-rays within safety protocols and manage contrast administration, infection control, and essential imaging systems.

The role requires AMA-approved radiologic technologist training, ARRT registry status (or eligibility), and BLS certification, with duties spanning multiple Archbold facilities in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registry eligibility.
• Must be registered, or if recent graduate, must pass registry.
• Certification in BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special radiologic exams across all patient categories (infant to geriatric).
• Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within safety protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as ordered.
• Maintain infection control procedures.
• Utilize Unity, Novious and PACS systems on a daily basis.
• Maintain current basic education and certifications.
• Meet institutional requirements and participate in safety goals.
• Advocate for JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals daily.

Registered Radiologic Technician/GR - JDAMH

Description

• Must be knowledgeable in performance of all routine exams and be familiar with all special exams in all patient categories including infant, children, adolescent, adult and geriatric
• Provide diagnostic x-rays for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients within Diagnostic and Safety Protocols
• Prepare and administer contrast media to patients as ordered
• Maintain infection control procedures
• Utilization of Unity, Novious and PACS
• Maintain current basic education and certifications
• Responsible for institutional requirements
• Implement the use of JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals daily

Education/Experience

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training at an A.M.A. approved school and meets requirements for registry by A.R.R.T.
• Must be registered, or if recent graduate, must pass registry
• Must be certified in BLS
