Job summary

Children's Health is seeking a Specialty Service Coordinator in Dallas to coordinate cardiology procedures, authorizations and related processes. You will liaise with faculty, patients, families, and care teams to ensure smooth scheduling and information flow.

The role requires at least 3 years in healthcare and an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with on-site service Mon-Fri. Location is at the Main Hospital Dallas within the Cardio Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in healthcare related field.
• Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates scheduling with Cardiology Faculty, surgeons, patients and families.
• Verifies patient’s insurance coverage and arranges pre-authorizations with Admitting and Patient Financial Services.
• Documents/maintains patient data in the patient health record.
• Provides in-person scheduling support and acts as a liaison pre/post clinic appointments.
