Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Hospital seeks a skilled Registered CardiacVascular Sonographer to perform diagnostic echo cardiograms and vascular ultrasound for inpatients and outpatients. You will work under Nurse Manager supervision, delivering high-quality imaging and data integration into the cardiology PACS system.

The role requires an Ultrasound school graduate with ARDMS or CCICPR registration, strong English communication, and the ability to handle diverse patient needs in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound school.
• Registered Cardiac and Vascular Registry (ARDMS or CCICPR) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality diagnostic echo cardiograms for both inpatients and outpatients.
• Performs high quality peripheral vascular studies for both inpatients and outpatients.
• Performs and processes ultrasound studies in cardiac and vascular resulting in high quality images in a timely and efficient manner.
• Is knowledgeable of and implements procedures protocols standards and guidelines under ASE and the supervision of the cardiologist.
• Gathers sends and interprets clinical data as assigned per doctors orders to cardiology Pacs system.
• Documents legibly and charge daily procedures.
