Responsibilities

Perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping, cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests, and vascular exams on adult and geriatric patients. Maintain performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC standards.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

1. An appropriate credential in echocardiography:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Additional credential in one of the following:

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from CCI
• Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RS) from ARRT

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Work Hours:

7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 4/10 schedule
