Your Responsibilities

  • Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo exams while following established protocols.
  • Performs a full-range of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and patient experience.
  • Obtains thorough patient history and presents key findings to the interpreting physician.
  • Assists with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
  • Conducts work in a sterile environment based on protocols and client processes.
  • Maintains and operates ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance and reporting malfunctions.
  • Participates in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives.
  • Travels to client locations safely.
  • Maintains ethical professionalism at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification.
  • Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI); RVT/RVS a plus.
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
  • At least 2 years ultrasound experience.
  • Proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging; procedure experience a plus.
  • Active BLS Certification.
  • Ability to handle heavy medical equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Working Conditions

  • Performed at outpatient centers, hospitals, clinics, with moderate to high patient volume. Travel required in all weather conditions.

Physical Demands

  • Standing for periods, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Occupational Exposure

Work involves risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens; protective equipment required.
