Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform and record echocardiograms for adults and pediatric patients, assist during invasive TEE exams and Stress Testing, and communicate results to physicians. The role requires scheduling, patient explanation, and maintaining ultrasound equipment.

The position emphasizes teamwork, bedside manner, and adaptability to workload fluctuations, with responsibilities spanning patient care and procedural support in a hospital

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a cardiac-related field.
• Certification in Basic Arrhythmic Interpretation.
• Certification in Ultrasound Training Program.
• RDCS/RDMS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RVT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Associate degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Responsibilities
