Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform and record echocardiograms for adults and pediatric patients, assist during invasive TEE exams and Stress Testing, and communicate results to physicians. The role requires scheduling, patient explanation, and maintaining ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a cardiac-related field.
• Certification in Basic Arrhythmic Interpretation.
• Certification in Ultrasound Training Program.
• RDCS/RDMS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RVT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Associate degree.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for performing and recording measurements and final report of M-mode, two-dimensional Doppler echocardiograms for adults and pediatric patients. Assist practitioners during invasive TEE exams and Stress Testing. Communicate information to physicians. Exhibits good bedside manners dealing with patients, family members, and staff. Proficient in scheduling, explaining procedures to patients and maintaining ultrasound equipment.

What qualifications you will need:

• One year of experience in a cardiac-related field
• Certification in Basic Arrhythmic Interpretation
• Certification in Ultrasound Training Program.
• (RDCS/RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/ Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
