Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Eligible.
• Proctored Echo program student doing PRN work.
• Knowledge and ability to operate ultrasound equipment.
• One year hands-on technical experience.
• Knowledge of all diagnostic ultrasound equipment.
• Ability to use equipment without direct supervision.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures for all ages to aid in diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
• Subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
