Job summary

Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our team on a PRN with on-call basis. The role focuses on accurate imaging, patient positioning, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.

Preferred candidates have completed an accredited program and RDMS certification is favored. The position supports a family-oriented hospital with opportunities for multi-unit training and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited course for national/state registry or licensure eligibility.
• RDMS preferred per qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure.
• Follow prescribed safety standards and confidentiality policies.
• Participate in on-call rotations; respond promptly to pager requests.
• Maintain scrub uniforms, keep equipment area clean, and coordinate with physicians.
• Complete required forms and verify orders before exams.
• Check patient ID bands and follow time/attendance policies.
• Assist in quality control and policy development for modalities.
