Trinity Health in Michigan seeks a part-time Heart Clinic Triage RN for day shift to provide clinical triage, patient education, and coordination for cardiac patients. This role triages test results to physicians, documents information in the electronic health record, reviews labs, and responds to abnormal rhythms or vital signs following established protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold a Michigan RN license, BCLS and ACLS, and bring at least 3 years of cardiac nursing experience to support

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive triage and patient education.
Document medical information in patient's electronic health record.
Review lab and test results and work collaboratively with cardiology team.
Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms, vital signs and intervene per protocol.
Assess walk-in patients and determine if visit or telephone follow-up.
Assist with ECGs and nurse visits as ordered by Michigan Heart Physicians/Providers.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety and mission standards.
