Job summary

Join Mercy Hospital Washington as a Unit Secretary in the Cardiac Telemetry unit. This part-time role is 24 hours per week, days shift, in a fast-paced 35-bed unit that supports STEMI, post-cardiac catheterization, CHF, arrhythmias, and stroke care.

You will facilitate communication and administrative operations, handling data entry and confidential information while supporting the healthcare team for patient care delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or certification in medical office administration.
• Experience entering data and using computer systems.
• Clerical experience in healthcare preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate unit communications and administrative tasks.
• Enter data and process information on computer systems.
• Support nurse-to-patient workflow in Cardiac Telemetry unit.
