Qualifications

• Education - High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited business/medical assistant's course, or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Medical Terminology and clerical tasks preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, and prioritize unit activities to support throughput and patient safety.
• Enter physician orders into the computer system and verify completion.
• Maintain accuracy of the medical record from admission to discharge.
