Job summary

U K Healthcare Ltd is seeking a Cardiopulmonary Technician to support cardiac monitoring and virtual patient observation. The role includes telemetry data interpretation and timely communication with nurses or providers.

When scheduled at the TeleSitter station, you will monitor patients remotely and respond to behaviors that risk safety, escalating to bedside staff as required. You will document findings and maintain equipment while protecting patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Experience in telemetry monitoring and TeleSitter operations.
• Ability to identify rhythm changes and potential arrhythmias.
• Proficient in documenting telemetry findings and care activities.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Completion of EKG competency assessment per UK nursing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry continuously and document changes.
• Identify and interpret rhythm changes and potential arrhythmias; notify appropriate staff.
• Remotely observe multiple patients via TeleSitter when assigned.
• Provide verbal redirection to at-risk patients and alert bedside staff as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry and TeleSitter equipment; act as a clinical resource.
