Job summary

Qualifications

• Telemetry/EKG interpretation course completed during orientation.
• 0-2 years clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Continuously observes telemetry monitors and records rhythms at established intervals.
• Identifies rhythm changes and notifies nursing staff of potentially life‑threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintains communication with care team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Troubleshoots and escalates monitor equipment issues as directed.
• Manages equipment during shifts and ensures correct lead placement for admissions/transfers/discharges.
• Adheres to safety protocols and accurate documentation.
