Responsibilities

• Assess patients/families with readiness to learn; tailor teaching plans and use teach-back methods.
• Communicate professionally with patients, family, nurses, and other medical staff.
• Adhere to medication safety policies, including order writing, administration checks, and policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Anticipate and intervene for patient and staff safety.
• Lead and role-model therapeutic communication and teamwork.
• Develop, implement and evaluate care plans; adapt to changes in condition.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and pursue unit-specific learning opportunities.
