Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the 5D Cardiothoracic Telemetry/Cardiac Step Down Unit at Edgewood Hospital. This full-time position staffs a 36-bed unit with a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multistate) License in their primary state of residence.
• Licensed to practice in the state where work is being performed.
• Focus of education promotes nurses’ ability to practice in clinical area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based clinical care to designated patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care according to standards of nursing practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes.
