Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 5D Cardiothoracic Telemetry/Cardiac Step Down Unit at the Edgewood Hospital.

The RN will provide evidence-based care on a 36-bed unit, working night shifts (7P–7A) and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Qualified candidates will have a nursing degree from an accredited program, a compact license in their primary state if eligible, and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.
• Compact (multi-state) license eligible in the primary state of residence.
• Licensed to practice in the state where work is performed.
• Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including state requirements.
• Preceptorship and orientation completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to designated patients using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate respect, dignity, and empathy in patient and family interactions.
• Utilize clinical standards and policies for safe medication administration.
