Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital seeks an RN to provide direct nursing care on the Progressive Coronary Care Unit. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, assess conditions, and coordinate discharge needs in a high-acuity cardiothoracic setting.

Requirements include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS for critical care, and 2 years of recent nursing experience. This PRN role involves day/night rotations and weekend/holiday shifts, with a focus on professional growth and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification if in a Critical Care area (must be presented on hire or within first year).
• External applicants: two years of recent related nursing experience.
• Internal applicants: less than two years of experience with Chief Nursing Officer review and approval.
• Military RN experience considered.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
