Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a part-time RN to join a 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, create and adjust care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families to promote understanding and recovery.

The role emphasizes telemetry interpretation, clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient outcomes, with a 24-hour weekly schedule and daytime hours. An RN license is required; ADN is accepted with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate multiple factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
