Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for a 24-hour-per-week position on a 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to safe, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth through mentorship and the Clinical Ladder program.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BLS CPR certification required
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physical, psychological and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure clear communication.
