Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for 3 East Cardiac Telemetry. This 7p-7:30a, 12-hour night shift, part-time position is based on a 24-hour schedule with the potential for a signing bonus as discussed during interviews.

Responsibilities include delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, performing assessments, planning discharges, and coordinating clinical care while supervising other staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care in the clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately per job description and competency.
