Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Telemetry Department (MedSurg 3A). The role requires 36 hours per week with rotating weekends, delivering patient-centered care and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidate holds RN licensure in MA, BLS certification, and has acute Med/Surg experience. ACLS preferred; BSN within 4 years encouraged. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN; BSN within 4 years required.
• Licenses: Current RN MA license + BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Experience: Prior acute Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Department, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC's nursing organization
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects
