Job summary

Memorial Health System in Marietta, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver professional nursing care and patient education within a quality-driven environment.

The RN will participate in bedside shift reports, conduct rounds, assess patients, develop and revise care plans, coordinate discharge teaching, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and experiences.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Ohio or WV.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in bedside shift report/handoff.
• Performs hourly rounding.
• Obtains required patient assessments and reassessments per nursing policy.
• Develops and revises plan of care and teaching plan based on assessed needs.
• Coordinates discharge teaching for patient/family and documents appropriately.
• Implements and monitors nursing interventions.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Meditech within required timeframe.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to identify patient needs.
• Communicates changes in patient conditions to physician using SBAR.

Education

Registered Nurse license (OH or WV)

BLS certification

ACLS certification within 1 year
