Job summary

Memorial Health System - Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 12-hour night shift in Marietta, OH. The position entails bedside care, patient assessments, and coordination of discharge teaching with documentation in Meditech.

The successful candidate will hold Ohio RN licensure, maintain BLS, and complete ACLS/PALS/TNCC within the first year. A strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio (or WV if applicable).
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS and TNCC within 1 year of employment.
• ASLS certification preferred on hire; stroke education during orientation.
• Maintains compliance with RQI and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Participates in bedside shift report/handoff and hourly rounding.
• Obtains patient assessments/reassessments per nursing policy and documents in Meditech.
• Coordinates teaching to patient/family for discharge and documents.
• Implements nursing interventions and triages changes in patient condition.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately and timely.
