Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Telemetry on the Night shift. This full-time role supports a Magnet-recognized, 815-bed facility with strong educational opportunities and a team-focused environment.

You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, assess patients, plan and intervene as needed, and ensure safe, effective care across shifts and transfers. A supportive unit culture promotes growth and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing on hire.
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• ACLS – within 90 days of hire; expiration >3 months preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program.
• Tele and Med/Surg experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient information needs.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and during transfers.
