Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a registered nurse to join Unit 3500, a 24-bed Medical Telemetry unit. The RN will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care, using the nursing process, and communicating with the care team.

Shift: Midnights, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am with alternating weekends; BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program; Michigan license.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
